Hrithik sees through Barbara's prank, slaps her!

We have already read innumerable pieces on the terrific onscreen chemistry between Hrithik Roshan and Mexican beauty Barbara Mori on the sets of 'Kites'.

Though there were many indications that the chemistry was something more explosive, Roshan was quick to deny all that (There were even reports which suggested that the "affair" was a publicity gimmik for 'Kites'!).

But, director Anurag Basu says the off screen chemistry between the actors were also very appealing. He narrates a humorous incident on the sets as an example. In an interview to a tabloid, he said, "We were filming an important scene in which Barbara was supposed to slap Hrithik. I had okayed the first take, but Barbara insisted on a retake, and on slapping Hrithik again!

"We knew it was a prank, and agreed. But as soon as the camera rolled, Hrithik ducked and slapped Barbara! That's when she realised that Hrithik had seen through her prank and the whole unit burst out laughing."
